Cookie policy

The French version prevails.

No cookies

Until you start a YouTube video (see below), the www.escape-gift.com website sets no cookies on your device, shows no advertising and loads no social media pixels. This website measures its audience with an in-house tool, with no cookie and no third party: IP addresses are never stored, the pseudonymous identifier changes every day, only the country is kept, and raw data is deleted within 7 days. You can opt out by enabling your browser’s Global Privacy Control (or “Do Not Track”) signal. For details, see our privacy policy. That’s why no banner asks for your consent: there is nothing to accept or refuse. The links to our Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn pages are plain links: nothing is loaded from these networks unless you click them.

Contact forms

Our contact forms do not set any cookies either. The information you enter in them (name, email address, subject, message) is sent to us by email and is not stored on the website. To prevent abuse, the server only keeps a count of submissions per IP address: the address never appears in plain text, as it is replaced by an irreversible hash. This counter is no longer taken into account after one hour, and is then deleted automatically on a later submission. To find out more, see our privacy policy.

Videos

The YouTube videos on some pages are not loaded when the page opens: only a preview image, hosted on our website, is displayed. The video is loaded only if you click it, from the youtube-nocookie.com domain (YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode); YouTube may then store information on your device (cookies, local storage) and applies its own privacy policy (Google Privacy Policy).

The game.escape-gift.com creation area

The creation area game.escape-gift.com, where you create your treasure hunts and where your players solve them, is a separate application with its own cookie policy: you can read it and change your choices at any time on its Cookie management page.

If you have any questions about this policy, write to us at contact@escape-gift.com.
